Matadero Madrid or ‘MAD’ as it’s affectionately known, is a centre for contemporary arts created in 2006 by the Madrid City Council’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Its different spaces offer an extensive programme of exhibitions, theatre, festivals, live music, cinema, debates and workshops, residencies for artists, educational programmes and activities for families.
